9th Annual Dentistry From The Heart

Dr. Tim Gardner of Conroe Comprehensive Dental Center (CCDC) and Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center (MCDC), armed with staff and volunteers is out to change lives by offering free dentistry to the underprivileged of Montgomery County, as they host the latest event in conjunction with Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH).

The 9th Annual event will treat those, residing in Montgomery County, who truly need, but cannot afford dentistry. The procedures done free of charge include extractions, simple fillings and cleanings.

In 2016 CCDC donated more than $48,000 worth of free dentistry to about 80 underprivileged residents of Montgomery County. They hope to see an increase in numbers this year.

“Now more than ever I know there are people out there who need my services but have no means to afford them; whether they are out of a job or just having a hard time,” Gardner said. “This Dentistry from the Heart event is my way of giving back to the community and being there for the people who are in need of dental work.”

The event will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the office of CCDC at 2210 North Frazier, Suite 120 in Conroe. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. Patients are asked to bring ID or other paperwork proving their residence in Montgomery County. Staff and volunteers will treat as many patients as possible by 5 p.m.

Please contact CCDC at 936-539-3636 with any questions or concerns or visit them online at www.conroesmilemakeover.com.

Snore No More

With so many patients complaining about their spouses snoring and keeping them awake my team and I decided it was time to invest in a laser that can help tremendously reduce snoring.

This procedure, done solely with lasers, called NightLase provides a non-surgical path to a better night's sleep. The laser light therapy tightens and opens the airway with a very high success rate and there is no anesthesia necessary. After just one treatment most patients notice at least a 50% reduction in snoring!

While this treatment will probably not cure the underlying disease of sleep apnea, it will allow patients utilizing CPAP therapy to, in most cases, turn down air pressure. Nightlase also works very well in conjunction with oral appliance therapy.*

"After my first NightLase procedure with Dr. Gardner, I immediately felt like I could breath better, and every night since then my husband has said that I have just lightly 'purred,' instead of a loud snore like before. And that's after just one treatment!" - Rachel P. (actual patient)

We invite you to try NightLase, the alternative treatment for snoring, with us for a very special price. This procedure, which is three sessions, is normally an $1,800 investment. Beginning now until October 31 we're happy to offer this to our patients for only $1,200. That's $600 in savings!

6th Annual Dentistry for Veterans

Conroe and Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Centers, armed with staff and volunteers, are out to change lives by offering free dentistry to the veterans of Montgomery County as they host the 6th Annual Dentistry for Veterans event.

The event will take place Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the office of Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center, at 951 Lone Star Parkway in Montgomery. Prescreening is preferred and those who qualify are asked to call beginning Monday, October 2 to make a pre-screening reservation.

The event will treat those who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces. There will be no cost to those who show proof of military service. Procedures include, but are not limited to, cleanings, exams, extractions and fillings.

“I hold our military in very high regard,” Dr. Tim Gardner, owner and dentist at Montgomery Comprehensive Dental Center said. “Without them we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today. This is just a small way to give back to a great cause.”

In 2016, Dentistry for Veterans donated more than $103,000 worth of free dentistry. They hope to grow the event this year.
